Gula Melaka Mini is a traditional Malaysian palm sugar made from the sap of coconut or nipa palm trees, produced specifically in the Merlimau region. It is known for its rich caramel aroma, deep golden-brown colour, and smooth, creamy texture. The sugar is crafted by slowly boiling fresh palm sap until it thickens, then moulding it into solid cylinders or blocks. T his slow-cooking process gives it a naturally sweet, smoky, and slightly earthy flavour that is more complex than regular refined sugar.
